    Organic Ceylon Cinnamon Essential Oil

Warm, enveloping, comforting, intense, its olfactory identity card makes it an unambiguous character that you should never forget to dilute. The bark of the Ceylon cinnamon tree is distilled to produce a subtle essential oil whose composition is quite similar to that of the Chinese cinnamon tree, but whose aroma is more refined and softer.

    Our opinion

Do not confuse this essential oil with those of Ceylon cinnamon leaves, which are rich in eugenol (70 to 80%) and Chinese cinnamon leaves, which are very rich in cinnamaldehyde (70 to 85%). Cinnamomum cassia is also sometimes called "false cinnamon".

A little heavy when used alone, it is better to combine it, for example, with an abundant base of Sweet Orange Essence. Do not forget it in culinary aromatherapy!
